Second edition (1st 1626) of this excellent impartial historiographical report of grosso modo the second half of the 16th c. by senior officer Van Reyd (1550-1602). Decorated with an engraved title, a beautiful portrait of the author by J. Muller after J.J. Pontanus and 24 in-text engr. depicting all important figures related to Dutch history.
