Fr. Collius, a doctor of the Ambrosian college at Milan, and grand penitentiary of that diocese, died in 1640. His works are often a vehicle for the display of the author's erudition, and the present one on Christ's Blood is also "full of profound disquisition and citations innumerable" (Chalmer's). Engr. mark on title. Title in red and black.
