Rare French translation by Ch. Platet of "De la vita civile overo del Senno libri dieci", first publ. in Venice in 1607 by F. Campani. Interesting courtesy book with information on issues of etiquette (customs at festive dinner, drinking wine and water), advice and instructions about the correct social behaviour, marriage, etc.
