Engraving, 23,2 x 17,7 cm, thick laid paper, signed in the plate with false monogram and date AD 1507, "Joh. Bal. Probst" (trimmed just within platemark, corners sl. faded).

Dark impression.

The figure group is in the style of Albrecht Dürer. During the 18th century, this print was believed to be by Dürer. Late impression with the addresses of Johann Balthasar and Johann Michael Probst, and the name of the publisher Jeremias Wolff. Since the margins in our copy have been trimmed, the state remains uncertain.
