Old vellum, spine on 3 raised bands titled in ink (corners bumped, some worming, some sm. repairs, joints splitting). Good copy.

The fine and very rare Venetian edition - the 4th - of one of the most important anatomical works, by A. Vesalius (1514-1564). Illustrated with slightly reduced copies of those found in earlier editions. The illustrations are sometimes attributed to (the workshop of) Titian.
