2 parts in 1 vol., 8vo: [4]-CLXVIII, [8]-CLXII ff. (f. LXXIII in 1st part missing, last f. missing?; dampstaining throughout, one large in pt. II, occ. foxing, f. IIII in pt. II soiled, f. LVIII of pt. II torn).
Contemp. calf, covers blind-ruled and orn. with a central flower tool and gilt sm. angular ones, spine with raised bands (rebacked, edges and corners repaired, sm. loss repaired to lower covers, sm. rubbings).
Translation by Nicolas d'Herberay des Essarts of the popular chivalric romance (1st: 1540-1548), illustrated with 35 woodcuts in-text (incl. repeats) and 2 full-page one's. Edition shared between Jean Longis, Vincent Sertenas and Étienne Groulleau. Groulleau's mark on title.
