New ed. of this iconographic publication showing castles and monasteries of Brabant, divided in 4 parts. Illustrations: in part I: nice front. engraved by Abraham van Diepenbeeck, identical to the front. of previous eds, engr. dedication to the "Staten Generaal der Vereenigde Nederlanden", 212 engr. pls of which 5 maps (trimmed short) & 1 city map, single, double or folding, and some 206 views of castles, each with coat-of-arms of the landowner, some monuments; a vignette on title and on "Prooemium", and the "schema metallorum" on f. 7. In part II: 1 engr. map (Brabant, sm. marg. tear), dedication and 6 views.
