Wall map consisting of 16 numbered and hand-coloured engraved maps that was also published as an atlas. Nice cartouche. Revision of the 1789 edition. First employed as cartographer by J.J. de Ferraris, de Bouge was sworn in as land surveyor in the Austrian province of Gueldres at the time the atlas was produced. Though inspired by Ferraris' "Carte marchande", he made use of a smaller scale. De Bouge worked together with the Brussels engravers Jeanne Cathérine Maillart and her brother Philippe-Joseph.
