8vo: [60] ff. in Braille on both sides (sl. soiling, occ. foxing).
Contemp. brown sheep, blind-stamped frame on covers, large cross on upper cover, gilt metal clasp, blind decorated flat spine with gilt title (rubbed, clasp incomplete).
Prayer book in German printed in abbreviated Braille on the presses of an institution for the blind founded in 1847 by Blessed Pauline Von Mallinckrodt, foundress of the Sisters of Christian Charity.
