Radiating from the North Pole, this map gives a curious view on the world. Engr. by W. van der Gouwen after J. Goeree, this map is also renowned for its dramatic, decorative border with vignettes representing the 4 seasons. First published in "Le Nouveau Théâtre du Monde ou La Geographie Royale" in 1713. Verso blank.
