8vo: vii-[1 bl.]-359 pp. (sm. damp stain to upper margin, very occ. foxing).
Contemp. marbled sheep, gilt-ruled covers, gilt-orn. flat spine, marbled edges matching endpapers (sl. rubbing, joints split, leather unstuck to lower spine).
First French translation by Pl. Magré of parts of the original work "American coastal pilot" (1796), describing every port of North America, by Blunt (1770-1862), American navigator and publisher of nautical magazines. The translator added a table of routes and distances at the end of the work.
