Contemp. quarter red shagreen, percaline boards, titled spine with raised bands (rubbed, stains on front cover).

Later ed. (1st 1838) incl. a large world map by A. Vuillemin, 86 departmental maps, 6 maps on the French colonial territories, 6 continental maps and 1 large map of France. All maps have a decorative frame with allegorical representations.
