Incomplete and hybrid copy of the French translation of "Afbeeldinghe, ende beschrijvinghe van alle de veld-slagen, ghevallen in de Nederlanden [...]" (Amsterdam, 1615) by the Dutch theologian and Hhistorian Baudartius (1565-1640). The four 1st ff. (half-title, title, and introduction) come from the Latin edition of 1622. It consists of a narration of the 1559-1615 wars in the Low Countries, ill. with 1 engr. front. and 79 full-page engravings figuring views of cities, battles and battlefields, tortures, executions, etc. The ill. are identical in the Dutch, French and Latin editions.
