Contemp. vellum, covers with central blind-stamped ornament with "Vive Dieu" in small lettering, rebacked with mod. vellum spines with 7 raised bands and red leather title label, mod. endpapers. Good copy with large margins.
Profusely ill. ed. of the collected works (1st 1655) of Jacob Cats (1577-1660). Engr. ill.: 2 title-vign., headpiece with 2 coats of arms by J.V. Vianen after J. Goeree, 1 endpiece, 1 full-page title with author's portrait, 2 full-page author's portraits (1 by Michael Natalis after Dubordieu and 1 by M.
