Rare first edition, containing 3 engr. folding maps (Brabant, battle of Tongeren and battle of Rocoux) and 4 printed folding tables (battle formations). The work is a campaign journal of Maurice, Count of Saxony and Marshal of France (Goslar 1696-1750 Château de Chambord), from May to October 1746, with details on the movements in Brabant (Brussels, Dendermonde, Tienen, Leuven, Mechelen, Aarschot, ...), de Kempen (Lier, Turnhout, Grobbendonk, ...) and the Namur region (siege of Namur, with statistics on wounded and dead).
