Published for the 150th anniversary of Zander firm, with an introd. in German, English, French and Italian: "The twelve sheets of the Zanders Calendar for 1979 present embossed and printed motifs which are the outcome of close co-operation between the outstanding French artist Georges Braque and jeweler and master stone-cutter Heger de Löwenfeld. The basis of this collection are decorative stones designed by Braque during his last creative period [...]. Heger de Löwenfeld was the "companion" who translated these inspired dreams into gold and precious stones. The further transformation of certain of these creations into embossed and printed form is also based on the joint intentions of Braque and Heger de Löwenfeld.
