Expertly rebound in modern leather with the original covers laid down, contemp. calf covers with gilt IHS-mark within gilt-ruled border (sl. soiled), spine with 4 raised bands and sm. blind-stamped coats of arms, mod. endpapers and front flyleaf. Good copy.

First edition of this religious work by the Jesuit author Binet (1569-1639). It describes the church of St Lambert Abbey at Liessies with its saints, i.a. Augustinus, Benedictus, Bernardus, Franciscus, Dominicus, Ignatius, etc., mostly founders of religious orders.
