Unrecorded anonymous account of the events that took place in the city of Ghent, with a special focus on the "rebellion, murders, emotions, mutinies, injustices, the cruelty or the violence" perpetuated by the population, the reign of Charles V, the violence committed by the Protestants, etc. Contains also some digressions on antique and early medieval history.
