Successful work (1st: Padova, 1558) by Luigi Cornaro or Alvise Cornaro (1475?-1566), Venetian nobleman and patron of arts, on secrets to living long and well through sobriety and moderation. Illustrated with a frontispiece captioned "Non ut edam. Sed ut vitam".
