4to: [1, 1 bl., 8]-146 pp. (toned, dampstain at bottom, some soiling).
19th-c. quarter leather, marbled paper on covers, gilt flat spine with morocco label, marbled edges, marbled endpapers, green silk marker (rubbed, sl. loosening). Good copy.
Very rare Angoulême ed. of the third collection of Latin poetry by Paul Thomas "Escuyer, Sieur des Maisonnettes, Conseiller du Roy, au Siege Presidial d’Angoumois, Maire & Capitaine d’Angoulesme". The present collection consists of religious verse, mainly paraphrases of the biblical books of Job, Song of Songs, Lamentations etc. Engr. title by C. E. Lasne.
