Contemp. sp. quarter calf (corners bumped), sp. paper over boards (rubbed), richly gilt spine with 5 raised bands (joints rubbed), brown leather title label, red sp. edges. Good copy.

First Dutch edition of this historical work by the French Huguenot writer in the Netherlands Rousset (Laon 1686-1762 Uithoorn), first French ed. publ. by Ryckhoff, Amsterdam 1742-43. Each part with separate title, printed in red and black. Woodcut mark on titles.
