After F.B. Werner and published by the heirs of Jeremias Wolff. Georg Balthasar Probst married Wolff's daughter Sibilla and inherited his copper plates; he first published the plate in ca. 1731. His son Georg Friedrich Probst published the plate without any topographical changes a second time in 1740. Werner's design results from a journey to Italy, dating back to ca. 1731. As it was destined for the German market, it aimed to satisfy northern tastes.
