Folio: [22]-ccccl (= 450)-[8] ff. (very minor dampstaining at top of 1st & last ff., tear in blank bottom margin of a1 & g1).

Cont. blind-stamped calf over wood, spine on 5 raised bands with paper label, metal corner pcs, metal clasps and catches (rubbed, head def., some flylvs cut off). Excellent well-preserved copy.

Monumental ed. of the collected works of St Gregory the Great (540-604). Large woodcut mark of Rembolt on title. Title in red and black within elaborate woodcut border. Printed in gothic type, in 2 cols. Ref. BP16 103498 = Moreau II:1835. - Adams G-1165. - Pettegree FB 72646. - STC French (BL) 208. Prov.
