Cont. blind-stamped calf over wood, spine on 5 raised bands with paper label, metal corner pcs, metal clasps and catches (rubbed, head def., some flylvs cut off). Excellent well-preserved copy.

Monumental ed. of the collected works of St Gregory the Great (540-604). Large woodcut mark of Rembolt on title. Title in red and black within elaborate woodcut border.
