Contemp. quarter cloth (sl. rubbed, corners bumped, 1 soiled). Originally published as individual pl. in the German magazine "Münchener Bilderbogen" from 1861 to 1880, here collected in 2 vol. Ill. with 167 hand-coloured pl. with 4 pictures per page for a total more than 600 costume designs.
