Comprehensive map, incl. Europe, the Arabian peninsula and a large part of Africa. With 2 inset maps: one of the north-east coats of China based on the memories of Martino Martini, Jesuit missionary, and the other one of the north-east region of Beijing based on the descriptions of Ferdinand Verbiest. Ornated with a large allegorical title cartouche depicting a woman representing Asia who is surrounded by an abundance of trade goods. Only 1 publication known: "Le Nouveau Théâtre du Monde ou La Geographie Royale" in 1713. Verso blank.
