B, C, E, F and G in part 1 and ff. F, H, M, S, T, 2E, 2G2, 2H in part 2), sm. marg. tear partly affecting map of Riva).
Contemp. sheep, blind-stamped boards, gilt-orn. spines with raised bands, gilt sides (joints partly split, heads and tail of vol. 1 missing, boards sl. rubbed, corners bumped). Large paper copy.
R. Chr. Alberts's French atlas of the States of the duke of Savoy, in 4 parts. Alberts complemented his new town atlas of Italy with the Northern Italian states of Piedmont and Savoy. With 4 engr. titles (3rd st. with imprint R. Chr. Alberts), coat of arms by J. Luyken, a genealogical table, 1 portrait (Victor-Amédée II), and 136 maps and plates, incl. large bird's-eye views of Turin, Thonon, Aosta, Biella, Mondovi and Andorno.
