Contemp. vellum, ink-titled flat spine (sl. soiled, corners sl. bumped).

First edition of a pioneer work on the early medieval history of (the Counts of) Flanders by the Bruges lawyer O. Vredius. Ill. with an engr. title and an engr. vign. on second title.
