Contemp. mottled sheep, gilt-titled spine with 5 raised bands (corners bumped, edges sl. rubbed).
Later enlarged and corrected edition. This book is an exceptional work of typography, meticulously set in three neat columns over 1296 pages. This work, containing elaborated tables of the Old and the New Testament, was written by the Roman Catholic biblical exegete and textual critic Franciscus Lucas Brugensis (de Bruges) (1548/9-1619), who also helped composing the Leuven Vulgate, printed in 1574 by Christopher Plantin.
