Interesting account of the siege of Nov.-Dec. 1832, attributed to the French general Desprez (1778-1833) by handwritten annotations by another hand (which dates the siege to 1833!). He was officer in the Engineers and aide-de-camp to Joseph Bonaparte, King of Naples. In 1831, he was invited by King Leopold I to participate in the organisation of the Belgian army.
