Rare first Dutch edition of the "Geistlicher Frauenzimmer-Spiegel" by the German chronicler Ortelius (1543-1614). Engr. ill.: double-page allegorical title, dedication and 39 full-page portraits of women from the Old and New Testament. Printed in Gothic. With the "Aanhangzel tot de geestryke, historische vrouwen-spiegel [...]" at the end, as it should be.
