First edition of a superb collection of 25 large format lithographs of Jersey, commemorating Queen Victoria's visit to Jersey in 1846. On this occasion she was presented with a series of watercolours of the island by John (or Jean) Le Capelain (1812-1848), his most famous work. Later on, these were turned into lithographs and publ. with scenes of the visit itself in the present work: 6 refer to Her Majesty's visit, 19 are Jersey scenes. With dedication leaf to the Queen.
