2 works in 1 vol., 8vo. Cont. marbl. calf (rubbed), richly gilt flat spine (front joint splitting but firm, head & tail def.), gilt sides, gilt interior dentelles, red edges, marbl. endpapers, blue silk marker. Very good copy.

1. Satirical essay on human reproduction (with or without intercourse with a male?) “written and published by Hill as a hoax upon the Royal Society in revenge for his rejection as a candidate for membership” (ESTC).
