Drawing, black pen, b/w watercolour and gouache, 14 x 18 cm (visible), wove paper, signed on bottom left (some foxing in the sky).
Passe-partout and gilt wooden frame (not studied outside frame).
James Alexander Walker (1831-1898), was a British painter of French descent known for his battle scenes.
