Pencil, brown ink, 20,0 x 27,0 cm (visible), laid paper with watermark (crowned Amsterdam arms with lions), signed, dated and located "a Utrecht Boitard Crocqavit / 17 Septembre 1719" (sm. tear on edge, crease, sm. light stain).
Mounted on paper and passe-partout at upper edge.
The French François Boitard (c. 1667-1719) was mainly active in Amsterdam at the end of his life.
