19th-c. blind-stamped morocco "à l’ancienne" by Petit-Simier, covers with blind lozenge-shaped stamps and stamped crosses within a blind double ruled border, gilt-titled spine on 5 raised bands, gilt inside dentelles, marbl. endpapers, a.e.g., cloth marker (sl. rubbed). Very good copy.
Extr. rare collection of theological essays here attributed to the French Franciscan Nicholas of Lyra (1270-1349). The text is now ascribed to Henricus de Frimaria. Large woodcut mark on title.
