Mod. vellum-covered boards, flat spine. Beautiful wide-margined copy.
Only incunable ed. of a treatise on predestination and free will by the theologian Honorius of Autun (1080-1154), famous for his encyclopedia “Imago mundi”. Formerly described as “[Nürnberg, A. Koberger, c. 1475]”, but attributed to Strasbourg by P. Needham (Brit. Libr. Journal 1980). “C.W.” is tentatively read as “Clas Wencker (?)” or “Conrad Wolfach (?)”. Printed in gothic type.
