Lot description
Lithogr., 34,5 x 22 cm, on wove paper 46 x 31 cm, signed in the pl. and countersigned in pencil in the lower right corner (margins sl. foxed).
Under passe-partout (wrinkled, some tears).
Original lithogr. numb. 10/30. Composition based on the play by the Belgian symbolist author Maurice Maeterlinck.
Joined: 1. Steinlen, Th.-A. - Le coup de vent. 1915. Lithogr., 32 x 46 cm, on laid paper Van Gelder Zonen 38 x 56 cm, signed and dated in the pl., countersigned and titled in pencil in the lower margin (sl. brown.). - 2-3. Granovsky, Samuel - Two views of Montmartre. Watercolour, charcoal on wove paper, 37 x 45 and 36 x 50 cm, titled and signed in the lower part, the 1st one with ink, the 2nd one with charcoal (some folds, traces of glue on verso). Samuel Granovsky (1889-1942), born in Ukraine, was a French painter mostly famous for his works about Parisian life and Russian folklore. He died in Auschwitz, after being deportated. (4 pcs)
