Amateur photographer, Belgian art collector and art historian Fritz Mayer van den Bergh (1858-1901) was the founder of the actual Mayer van den Bergh Museum in Antwerp. Arthur Bosschaert de Bouwel (1857-1896) was a Belgian politician. Both were born and active in Antwerp.
