Lot description
Lithography in colours, heightened with charcoal and chalk, 33,4 x 45 cm, thick wove paper, signed with monogram in the stone at lower left.
Under passe-partout.
A rare litho with a group of four women working in the Belgian charcoal mines. These women workers, kwown as "hiercheuses", were a favoured subject of Rassenfosse.
