Very rare panoramic view of the castle of Voorde (Ninove), from the rare 2nd vol. of the 1st edition of A. Sanderus' "Chorographia Brabantiae", showing the moated castle and square inner courtyard, flanked by 2 round corner towers and the entrance gate. The print belonged to part 38: "Decas tertia Arcium ac Domorum" that was removed in the 2nd ed. (The Hague). The whole edition of the 2nd vol. was destroyed during the bombardment of Brussels in 1695, only a few copies survived.
