Etching, 24 x 26 cm, vellum paper, unsigned (large vert. centerfold, min. foxing, trimmed to the platemark).

Satirical allegory contrasting in a single scene two subjects taken from La Fontaine's fable of the Frogs who demanded a King. On the left "L'âge d'or de Louis XVI", on the right "L'âge de fer 1793" with cranes eating the frogs, and Discord (Robespierre) flying above.
