Various sizes (oblong), on vellum, in French (one with stains and a part of text unreadable).
Sewn together.
These receipts are a valuable testimony of the functioning of the Duke's household and the local economy at the end of the Middle Ages. Some names: Adolph of Cleve; Jean Soillot, Secretary to the Duke Philip the Good; Jean II Aubert, brother of the famous calligrapher David Aubert; and Hubert de Plaines, merchant in Mechelen.
