The community of Benedictine nuns, also called St. Wivina's Abbey, was founded in the beginning of the 12th century and was closed by the French regime in 1796. The deed was written in the name of the prior of the Charterhouse Sint-Martens-Bos (Domus Silvae Sancti Martini) in Sint-Martens-Lierde (near Grammont). Enriched with a deed in the name of Guido, Bishop of Cambrai, 25 Jan. 1333 (= 1334 n.s.). 1 f. (14 x 20 cm), with a pendant seal.
