Some minor smudges and creases, otherwise in good condition.

Vellum leaves printed in Gothic textura type with illuminated capitals in red, blue and gold. The text is surrounded by elaborate scenes which are iron engravings. The scenes include representations of putti, hunting scenes, prophets, St Barbara, St John on Pathmos. With nice all'antica ornament. From three different books of hours. 2 folios can be identified as originating from a Book of Hours by Gilles Hardouin, printed in Paris in 1514. Also one folio with small niello and a large hand-coloured engraving with two putti presenting a coat of arms bearing the monogram of bookseller Germain Hardouin.
