Contemp. vellum (sl. soiled, endpapers lifted), flat spine titled in ink, remains of ties.
Rare second Amsterdam ed. (1st 1598) of the Dutch version of "Praxis rerum criminalium" (1st 1554) by the Bruges lawyer Damhouder (1507-1581). For over a century the basic work on criminal law in the Low Countries. Woodcut mark on title and at the end. Gothic type.
