Obl. 32mo, 7 x 3,7 cm : [16] ff. with the 1st and last ff. pasted on inner covers.

Mother-of-pearl covers inlaid with chiseled brass borders, oval central medallion, garlands and flowers, flowers painted in the corners (repairs to upper cover), metal hinge, a.e.g., housed in a gilt tooled red morocco cigar case with mention "Dauphine" gilt on upper side. Very nice copy.

Precious pocket calendar engraved thoughout. Contains stanzas on the 4 parts of the day, the 4 elements and the 4 seasons and a calendar for 1782, each month illustrated at head with delightful vignettes of which 2 signed Queverdo, illustrating the texts. Elegant binding specially designed for fashionable ladies of this time.
