8vo: [8]-432-[70] pp. (sm. part of blank bottom margin title underlaid, browning & spotting).
Cont. blind-stamped pigskin, covers with roll-stamps surrounding large centre pieces with portrait of Johan Casimir, Count Palatine of Simmern (1543-1592) (front) and his arms (back), spine on 4 raised bands, paper title label, red edges (sl. soiled, corners bumped). Good copy, nice binding.
Third, enlarged ed. (1st 1567) of this important lexicographical work by the Dutch humanist H. Junius (1511-1575). It is a dictionary classified according to subject, and with Latin catchwords, an explanation of it in Latin, and trsls into Greek, German, Dutch, French, Spanish and occ. English.
