Contemp., overl. vellum, flat spine (flyleaves and pastedowns renewed; sl. soiled, corners bumped).

German translation, published in the same year as the first Italian ed., of this history of the 17 Provinces by the historian and military draughtsman Gualdo Priorato (1606-1678). Ill. with an engr. front., depicting the coats of arms of the 17 Provinces, a folding map of the 17 provinces, 120 numb. double-page city plans and a large title vignette. Enriched (?) with a double-page view of the famous Battle of Solebay (June 6th, 1672), numb. 122, not mentioned in the index, but sometimes found in other copies.
