Albumen prints, 15 x 10 cm, mounted on heavy cardboard of which one with photographer's imprint on verso, all with photographer's name on lower mount, ms. notes in red ink on verso.
Good copies.
1-2. Hanfstaengl, Fr. - Full-length portraits of both Franz Liszt and Clara Schumann, sitting at the piano. Franz Hanfstaengl (1804-1877) was a Bavarian painter, lithographer and photographer. - 3. Bieber, E. - Half-length portrait of Anton Rubinstein. Emilie Bieber (1810-1884) was a female German photographer who opened a studio in Hamburg in 1852 (!). Rubinstein (1829-1894) was a Russian pianist, composer and conductor who founded the Saint Petersburg Conservatory.
